Role
You will support the financial management of European headquarters functions through cost center controlling, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting. Working closely with managers across Europe, you will provide financial transparency, support decision-making and contribute to the continuous improvement of planning and controlling processes.
Responsibilities
- Act as Finance Business Partner for assigned European headquarters functions and support management in financial decision-making
- Drive cost center controlling, including variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year
- Conduct regular financial review meetings and identify risks, opportunities and improvement measures
- Prepare monthly management reports, analyses and management commentary.
- Coordinate budgeting, planning and rolling forecast activities
- Develop and enhance reports, dashboards and KPIs to increase transparency on costs, headcount and performance
- Support the further development of SAP S/4HANA, OneStream and reporting processes, focusing on automation, data quality and efficiency
Profile
- Degree in Finance, Controlling, Economics, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Controlling, ideally within an international environment
- Experience in cost center controlling, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn financial data into actionable insights
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP S/4HANA, OneStream, Power BI, SQL or Microsoft Access is an advantage
- Proactive, business-oriented mindset with the confidence to challenge assumptions and drive continuous improvement
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, combined with fluent English
