WHAT IS THE ROLE?
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and input from sales and marketing teams.
- Create and manage supply plans to ensure product availability aligns with demand forecasts.
- Optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Order fulfilment teams to align supply and demand plans with business objectives.
- Analyse sales data, market trends, and other relevant information to adjust forecasts and improve accuracy.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply and demand planning.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
- Assess and mitigate risks related to demand variability and supply chain disruptions
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Strong experience in supply and demand planning, forecasting, or a similar role
- Degree in Supply Chain, Economics or Business is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Experience with data automation tools and techniques to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- SQL Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SQL for querying databases and managing data
- Excellent communication and Team collaboration skills.
- Proactive approach: Take initiative, assume responsibility, and drive tasks independently.
- Relationship building: Cultivate strong partnerships with the team, internal and external stakeholders. Foster trust, resolve conflicts and maintain positive working relationships.
- Resilience: Be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and master professionally occurring changes
- In-depth knowledge of an ERP system, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
- Profound knowledge and usage of Microsoft 365 applications (Excel is a must).
- Fluent in English, knowledge of further languages is a plus
