Procurement Specialist for IT, Software and Consultancy

WHAT IS THE ROLE?

• Serve as an expert buyer for IT, software, and consultancy services

• Monitor and stay informed about market trends and the supplier panel

• Prepare tender documents in collaboration with the technical/IT department

• Negotiate with IT and consultancy companies

• Handle license negotiations

• Report negotiation results to the purchasing management team

• Select potential suppliers based on market needs

• Negotiate and manage frame contracts and pricing with suppliers

• Ensure the high quality of delivered goods from suppliers

• Measure supplier quality using dedicated KPIs

• Maintain a professional and positive communication network between FANUC Europe HQ, the ICT department, and subsidiaries

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• University degree in Engineering, Economics or Business Administration, or a related field

• 5 years of work experience in procurement of IT, software, and consultancy services

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills

• Analytical mind-set and structured work approach

• Experienced in change management process

• Experienced in working in multi-national office environment with focus on indirect purchasing

• Good time management, planning and accuracy

• Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP system, knowledge in SAP is an advantage

• Customer-centric and strong business orientation

• Good communication skills, fluent in English, any other language is an advantage
