Role

You will play a key role in the further development of our machine tool portfolio (ROBOMACHINE) for the European market. In this position, you will develop PLC/PMC solutions, integrate new machine options and peripheral systems, and help define the technical standards of future machine platforms. From concept and implementation through to testing and validation, you will support technical solutions that are deployed across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize PLC/PMC software for machine tools and machine options
• Integrate peripheral systems such as measurement technology, cooling systems, and chip management into existing machine concepts
• Design electrical circuits and implement safety functions
• Perform testing, validation, and technical commissioning of new solutions
• Introduce new machine platforms and product generations to the European market
• Further develop and standardize software, automation, and engineering solutions
• Act as a technical contact for complex technical topics in collaboration with our European subsidiaries

Profile

• Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification
• Experience in PLC programming according to IEC 61131-3
• Experience in the machine tool, machinery, or special-purpose machine industry
• Understanding of the interaction between software, electrical engineering, and machine mechanics
• Knowledge of CE compliance, machine safety, or functional safety is an advantage
• Experience with FANUC controls, PMC, or comparable automation systems is desirable
• Hands-on mindset with a passion for developing, testing, and continuously improving technical solutions
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
• Good English communication skills for working in an international environment
