Your core tasks will include:
-
PLC and HMI programming of robotic automation systems, conveyors and process equipment.

IT Networking, network setup, managed switch configuration, NAT, VLAN, Wireless.

Electrical panel testing and commissioning.
-
Commissioning and programming decentralized control systems, specifically ProfiNet, Ethernet/IP, Asi and I/O link.

Asi Safety program creation using ASIMON 360
-
Support proposals with high level controls architecture concepts and costings.
-
Create Safety matrix and PL safety calculations using Sistema. And then validate the final solution.

Electrical Design with EPLAN/Bentley would be advantageous.
Your profile:
-
5 years + Experience.
-
Siemens S7 and TIA experience required.
-
Understanding and experience with working to BS EN 60204 - Safety of machinery and its application.

Working knowledge of BS EN ISO standards in relation to calculating safety distances to hazards, BS EN ISO 13855 and 13857 and robot safety requirements BS EN ISO 10218

Core understanding of PLC logic with working knowledge of Rockwell, Siemens PLC’s.

HMI development with Siemens, Rockwell and Proface.

You will be required to:

Some travel across the UK and occasionally abroad.
