Sales Manager - Robotic Systems

FANUC UK are looking for an additional Robotic Sales Manager to work alongside the existing Automation Systems Sales Managers. This is a full time position for which the right person will become a key member within the Sales Team for Robots & Automation Systems.
The role would require the successful candidate to:
- Manage the robotic systems sales of machine tool handling applications, and other general material handling applications/general automation as needed.
- On-boarding & Business Development of new customers
- Determine customer requirements, develop concept solutions or suggest products that fit the specific need, prepare proposals and quotations.
- Prepare documentation for internal order processing, and manage initial customer communications after order.
- Articulate the company’s strengths & capabilities in both written and verbal format to win new customers.
- Work within the business to develop the company systems capability offer and work with the management team on company strategy when required.
- Maintain the existing CRM database. (Salesforce)
- Produce monthly sales forecasts and status reports on all potential sales.
- Understand the latest products & technologies related to the business to enhance customer engagement.
- Build on customer relations and encourage customer feedback to identify how we can improve customer satisfaction.
Knowledge
The successful candidate will exhibit the following:
- A broad industry/manufacturing knowledge and understanding that the typical automation solution sales process should be consultative.
- Knowledge of machine tool automation solutions would be an advantage
Skills
You must also be able to demonstrate the following skill set:
- A proven track record in technical sales with a proven sales management record
- Effective questioning and data capture within the sales process
- Proven record of developing and maintaining a sales pipeline
- Previous experience with Salesforce CRM would be advantageous

The candidate will work alongside a small team of experienced sales managers and back-office proposals staff developing solutions against customer requirements.
You will be required to work mainly in the UK but some travel abroad will be required.
