Position Overview:
The Senior Marketing Specialist will play a critical role in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, generate leads, and support sales efforts. This individual will have a proven track record in both events and digital marketing, with more than 5 years of progressive experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns to promote our automation products and services.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create annual marketing plans that align with business objectives.
- Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to inform strategic decisions.
Digital Marketing:
- Manage and optimise digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
- Develop and oversee website content, ensuring it is optimised for search engines and user experience.
- Utilise analytics tools to track and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
Event Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute company events, including trade shows, webinars, conferences, and product launches.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure events are aligned with marketing strategies and business goals.
- Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts, and coordinate logistics to ensure successful event execution.
Content Creation and Management:
- Develop compelling content for various marketing channels, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and press releases.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and tone across all marketing materials and platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to produce high-quality marketing collateral.
Lead Generation and Nurturing:
- Implement lead generation strategies to attract and convert prospects into qualified leads.
- Develop and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive customer engagement.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure effective lead handoff and follow-up.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track, measure, and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management, highlighting key metrics and ROI.
- Continuously optimise marketing efforts based on data and feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- More than 5 years of progressive experience in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing and event management.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and analytics tools.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the automation engineering or technology industry.
- Certification in digital marketing or related areas.
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
* Candidates must possess a right-to-work document in the UK and should be located within a 30-minute travel time from the office, as this position requires on-site presence. The role is based in Coventry.
