Reports to: Head of Supply Chain and Logistics

Your core tasks will include:

Management and Strategy

  • Manage and develop the Supply Chain and Logistics team, ensuring performance and development.
  • Alignment with business strategy and work on initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and customer focus.

Order fulfilment

  • Oversee order processing of new product orders, to meet SLAs for customers and internal teams via the ERP system.
  • Coordinate with EU head office to ensure supply and availability for UK/IE customer demand.
  • Ensure fulfilment of complex order requirements from local or external warehouses.

Logistics & Customs

  • Oversee the coordination of all logistics from and to UK, IE and EU sites.
  • Management of Customs related activities of all imports and exports.
  • Compliance with UK/EU customs regulations and documentation management.

Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Manage inventory performance and implement strategies to reduce obsolescence and cost optimisation.
  • Oversee & develop the warehouse activities & processes.
  • Compliance with audits, regulations and health and safety.

Demand, Supply & Inventory planning

  • Manage MRP process for stock replenishment, including forecasting.
  • Manage forecasting of products & accuracy levels.

Performance & Financial management
Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance standards for the team
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and performance, including work on proactive initiatives
Monitoring of SLA’s and quality of communication

General
Cross-functional collaboration with all departments
Manage communication from shared mailboxes and channels
Any other related duties, as required by the Head of Supply Chain and Logistics, and such other duties as are within the scope of the job purpose, the title of the post and its grading.

Your profile:

Experience

  • 5+ years in Supply Chain, Operations or Logistics management or related role.
  • Experience in team and performance management.
  • Experience with managing customs processes.

Skills

  • Leadership and team management skills, with experience leading and developing a team.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach to work.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Customs, regulations & compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain, inventory management and logistics.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle or similar).
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, work well under pressure and with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Education

  • University degree in Supply chain, Logistics or Business or equivalent qualification is desirable.

You may be required to:

  • Support wider operational activities from time to time.
  • Support or take a leading role in local or group-based projects and implementations.
  • Support other subsidiaries lead projects.
  • Occasionally travel to other sites.

*** Candidates must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom and should ideally live within a 45-minute commute to the office, as this role requires on-site presence. The position is based in Coventry. ***
