Configuration Specialist

Location: Contern, Luxembourg; Contract Type: Permanent

Are you passionate about technology and eager to learn new skills? Do you want to be a key player within the Luxembourg based Product Configuration Team (Navigator) with focus on FANUC Robomachine products, maintain Navigator configuration tool and ensure technically correct order conditions by interacting with ETS group, FANUC Japan and the European Sales force? Then this is the position for you!

WHAT IS THE ROLE?

• Define meaningful data structure and perform the data entry into the Configuration tool

• Understand and structure the technical order conditions and implement these conditions into the Configuration tool

• Maintain and update the data based on new technical reports received from FANUC Headquarter Japan

• Test improvements and new functions of the tool in close cooperation with FEC ICT Department and European users

• Prepare and conduct Trainings on the tool for the European Sales force

• Interact with other Team members in the Product Configuration/ Item Master Management Team, ICT Team and our European Sales Force

• Demonstrate intercultural competence by effectively collaborating with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or solid technical education and work experience

• Several years of work experience in a technical environment, preferably Robomachine business

• Strong knowledge of MS Access and/or SQL database management, but no programming experience/knowledge required

• Knowledge about FANUC products (especially Robomachine products) would be a great advantage

• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment

• Very well-structured work approach

• Good time management, planning and organizing skills

• customer-centric and strong sales and service orientation

• Fluent in English
