Job Summary: The Head of IT Infrastructure and IT Service Management is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure and ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services. This role ensures the reliability, performance, and security of all IT systems and networks, while also managing IT service processes to meet business needs. The Head of IT Infrastructure and IT Service Management will lead a team of IT professionals, manage vendor relationships, and develop strategies for disaster recovery and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:

Lead and manage the IT infrastructure and IT Service Desk team, providing direction, mentorship, and support

Develop and implement IT infrastructure and service management strategies aligned with business objectives

Manage and plan all related resource within the team. Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of IT staff
Infrastructure Management:

Design, implement, and maintain robust IT infrastructure, including cloud, servers, networks, and storage systems

Ensure high availability and performance of IT systems and services

Manage data centres and cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and flexibility
IT Service Management:

Further develop and maintain IT service management processes and best practices (e.g., ITIL)

Ensure efficient incident, service request, problem, change management based on KPIs
-
Monitor and improve IT service delivery and customer satisfaction

Monitor IT infrastructure and service performance, generating regular reports for senior management
Security and Compliance:

Implement and maintain security protocols to protect company data and IT assets

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, JSOX)

Design, implement an IT Security Dashboard and report monthly to the Management Board the relevant information

Conduct regular security audits, pentests and risk assessments
Vendor and Budget Management:

Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers

Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs)

Develop and manage the IT infrastructure and service management budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and service management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

Strong knowledge of network and server management, cloud computing, IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL), and cyber security

Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills

Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, PMP) are a plus

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Fluent English, German is considered a strong asset
Working Conditions:

Full-time position with the opportunity of 2 days HO

Occasional travel may be required within Europe
