About the Role:
As part of FANUC’s European digital IT transformation, you are part of the IT Leadership team and drive the governance of strategic projects and shape the development of a future-ready, scalable IT architecture. The Europe-wide implementation of SAP S/4HANA (Project BOOST) establishes the foundation for more efficient processes, a single source of truth, and the integration of artificial intelligence into the ERP and digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership of the PMO and management of the strategic IT project portfolio ensuring delivery in terms of time, budget, quality, and goal achievement
- Development and enhancement of IT governance, including policies, standards, compliance, and clearly defined decision-making and escalation processes
- Responsibility for practical, scalable IT architecture that supports projects and drives digital transformation
- Evaluation and implementation of new technologies, with a focus on AI compatibility with SAP S/4HANA, and deriving appropriate transformation measures
- Execution of digital initiatives such as automation, process optimization, and the introduction of new IT solutions in coordination with the IT Board and business units
- Leadership, motivation, and development of staff while promoting an agile, innovation-driven IT culture
- Budget planning, controlling, and development of management tools to optimize costs and resources
Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant certifications in project management or IT architecture are an advantage
- Extensive experience in IT project and program management, including PMO responsibility, risk, and escalation management
- Expertise in IT governance, practical and scalable IT architecture, and modern transformation solutions, including SAP S/4HANA and AI integration
- Experience in digital transformation, automation, and process optimization with measurable business impact, ideally in manufacturing or technology-driven companies
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing international teams and fostering an agile, innovation-focused IT culture
- Analytical and financial skills, including budget planning and controlling, as well as strong coordination and communication skills at a European level
