Strategical Procurement Specialist (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for application-relevant material groups, including conducting market analyses and identifying suitable suppliers
• Select, develop, and evaluate suppliers; negotiate pricing, framework agreements, and project-specific procurement scopes
• Prepare tender documents and ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services
• Identify and realize cost-saving opportunities while continuously improving procurement processes to boost overall efficiency
• Conduct price comparisons and pricing structure analyses; report negotiation outcomes and key procurement KPIs to the procurement leadership
• Manage supplier performance, risk, and claims; qualify new suppliers and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure a reliable supply chain
• Collaborate closely with project management, engineering, and supply chain teams, and maintain effective communication between FANUC Europe's headquarters and its subsidiaries across Europe
• Provide support in indirect procurement when needed

Profile:

• Degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field
• Several years of experience in strategic procurement, particularly in sourcing direct materials and services; strong understanding of contract law and negotiation techniques
• Solid technical knowledge and experience in change management
• Proficient in ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA, as well as Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a high level of intercultural competence
• Commercial mindset, cost awareness, and a structured, team-oriented work approach
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, combined with a detail-oriented and customer-focused attitude
• Fluent in German and English, with business-level negotiation capabilities in both languages
