Role
You will drive the development, standardisation, and long-term ownership of software solutions for FANUC ROBOMACHINES in Europe. Working closely with European subsidiaries and FANUC Japan, you will transform technical requirements into reusable, scalable software standards and ensure technical know-how is captured and continuously improved. In addition, you will support the introduction of new european products and grow into a key contact for complex technical topics and support activities.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical circuits for machine options
- Design safety functions for machine options
- Create PLC / PMC software and design user interfaces
- Validate and test options when completed
- Drive standardisation initiatives across European ROBOMACHINES software solutions and engineering processes.
- Collect, analyze, and prepare technical information related to FANUC ROBOMACHINES, software functions, applications, and new products.
- Act as a technical expert for FANUC ROBOMACHINES products and coordinate the resolution of complex technical issues within second-level support.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in machine tools and / or injection moulding industry or a related technical field.
- Experience in PLC programming, IEC 61131-3, knowledge of FANUC PMC is an advantage
- Knowledge of CE marking regulations and functional safety
- Strong affinity for digital tools, Microsoft 365, and modern technologies including Artificial Intelligence.
- Proven ability to analyze, structure, and communicate technical information in a clear and effective manner.
- Highly structured, detail-oriented, and self-driven working style, combined with very good English communication skills, both written and spoken provement, digitalization, or automation projects is an advantage
